BOOK BINDING

Creating your own unique book is something special. They will contain 200gsm art paper suitable for most art mediums. My customers use theirs for many different purposes; art journal, writing journal, baby milestone book, baby shower guest book, love journal, photo keepsake book. They make beautiful treasured gifts.

You will learn the art of binding signatures (a group of pages that are folded, trimmed, and sewn or together to form a section of a book. Signatures are the building blocks of many bound books, particularly in traditional or high-quality bookbinding processes. They allow books to open more smoothly and improve durability compared to single-sheet binding methods).

One on one session $205 , group session $150 per person – 4 hours. Includes all materials except the cover design. Bring your own paper/material to use on the cover board* (more information will be provided upon registration).

Available for purchase on the day will be needles, awls and bone folders.
