Terms and Conditions for Ocean & Earth Studio

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of handmade pottery products from Ocean & Earth Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing from our website, markets, or other sales channels, you agree to these terms.

2. Products

  • All pottery items are handmade and may have slight variations in size, colour, and finish. These variations are not defects but characteristics of handmade goods.

  • Product descriptions and images are for illustrative purposes and may differ slightly from the actual item.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST where applicable.

  • Payment methods accepted include Eftpos, cash, direct bank transfer.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed orders will not be affected.

4. Orders and Shipping

  • Orders will be processed within 2–3 business days of receipt.

  • Shipping times and costs vary based on the delivery location and are displayed at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or events outside our control.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides guarantees that cannot be excluded.

  • If an item is damaged, faulty, or significantly different from its description, please contact us within 5 days of receiving the item to arrange a replacement, repair, or refund. Proof of purchase and photographs of the issue will be required.

  • Change-of-mind returns are not accepted unless agreed upon in advance, and the item must be unused and in original condition. Return shipping costs will be the buyer's responsibility.

6. Custom Orders

  • Custom pottery orders are non-refundable once production begins unless the item is faulty or does not meet agreed specifications.

  • Production times for custom items will be discussed at the time of order and may vary.

7. Care Instructions

  • Pottery care instructions are provided with each purchase. Improper use or care resulting in damage will not be refunded or replaced.

8. Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy and comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Personal information collected during transactions will be used solely for order fulfillment and communication purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and disputes will be resolved in accordance with Australian law.
